When on the WAVE 2014 we will need a way to keep in touch with the world. We will be adding to this blog regularly, Twittering, emailing and hopefully we will have Glympse on all the time we are on the road so everyone can see exactly where we are.

All this will require us to have internet connection. We could use our mobile phones along with their respective data plans but roaming charging are still expensive and so we will be using this clever Huawei E586Es MiFi device along with a Europe-wide data only sim from GlobalGig.

This little device will take a normal sim card and then creates a WiFi network to which we can connect our devices… mobile phones, iPad, laptop etc, all via WiFi.

I will add more details about this device later once I have had a chance to try it out but at about £50 it seems like great value for money.
